Xiaomi today announced that it has promoted its India managing director Manu Kumar Jain to the role of a vice president. Jain's elevation comes after Hugo Barra, Xiaomi's Global vice president, had announced quitting the company to head back to Silicon valley after a stint of three and a half years.
